My lifelong obsession with the ocean began as a child growing up between the Australian far north and the pacific islands. I started working in the maritime industry when I was 16, first as a guide and deckhand then later becoming a skipper on the Great Barrier Reef. Free-diving and surfing were also passions of mine which led perfectly into water photography. But it wasn't until I moved to Byron Bay that I started working as a professional photographer.
I see the ocean as a chaotic, unforgiving, powerful, yet beautiful place. When captured in still images I can appreciate how majestic it is. I hope to show and share that with you through my work.
